Can Casting Sand Be Reused?

When sand casting is completed, the sand disassembled from the mold will not be thrown away directly. We will regenerate the used old sand through a series of treatment methods, such as mechanical vibration, screening, dust removal and heat treatment. In simple terms, it is "washing, picking up and drying" to make it "useful" again. As long as the strength and particle size of the sand meet the standards, they can return to the production line to continue to shine and heat.
Of course, not all sand can be recycled indefinitely. Each time it is used, a part of the sand will deteriorate in performance due to high temperature, mechanical impact or changes in the binder. We will add new sand in an appropriate amount to ensure the stability of the entire sand mold. Just like adding some new rice to cook rice and adding some new oil to stir-fry, a reasonable combination will have a better effect.
